Almond Milk

Almond Milk

Ingredients:

1 cup of raw almonds
1.5L of filtered water
1 nut milk bag

Method:

  1. Soak the almond overnight in 500ml of water

  2. Drain off the water and put the nuts into a high powered blender with 1L of filtered water.

  3. Blitz the nuts and water for 2-3 min on high (TM 2Min on 8-9)

  4. Strain the nuts and water through the nut bag into a bowl. Make sure you squeeze it all out. The nut mix that is left in the bag should be close to dry.

  5. Put the almond milk into a glass jar in the fridge read to enjoy.

Tips:
Makes approximately 1L.
Use the nut pulp as almond meal or for bliss balls.
